The Short Story: Augustana's Casey Schilling registered his fourth double-double of the season with a game-high 24 points and 10 rebounds while matching his career-high with five steals. Daniel Jansen added 23 points for the Vikings on 8 of 12 shooting (2 of 4 from 3-point range) while hitting 5 of 6 free throws. The Vikings held Bemidji State to 43 percent shooting in the game, including just 5.3 percent from 3-point range.
 
How it happened
• Bemidji State started out the game going 0 for 9 from the field as the Vikings were able to build a seven-point lead at 9-2 after Jordan Spencer answered BSU's first bucket of the game with a step-back 3-pointer from the right wing.
• The Vikings never trailed in the game as they were able to build a 15-point lead as Jansen and Schilling started to catch fire from all over the court.
• Augustana shot 53 percent from the field in the first half as Schilling had 14 points to go along with Jansen's 12 in the first 20 minutes.
• Bemidji State was 0 of 8 from 3-point range in the first half and was led by Ben West who scored 10 first-half points.
• Augustana came out fast in the second half building a 16-point lead and had five freshmen on the floor by the midway point of the half after taking a 20-point lead at 67-47.
