The Short Story: Augustana never trailed for the second straight night as the Vikings cruised to a 67-50 win over Minnesota Crookston on Saturday night. The Vikings used 14 different players for the second straight game with 11 players scoring points for the Blue and Gold.
 
How it happened
• Augustana held Minnesota Crookston to just 18 percent shooting (5-27) in the first half as the Vikings were able to build a 16-point halftime lead.
• Augustana never trailed in the opening 20 minutes. After taking a four-point lead at 7-3 on a fastbreak bucket by Alex Richter never let UMC get closer than four points the remainder of the half.  
• The Vikings dominated down low scoring 20 of its 34 first-half points in the paint. The Vikings held UMC scoreless from the paint in the first half.
• Jordan Spencer threatened with triple-double numbers in the first half scoring six points to go along with seven assists and five rebounds.
• Augustana led by as much as 28 points in the second half and finished the game shooting 45.6 from the field.
