PUERTO RICO
- Augustana men's tennis looked to rebound after their first loss in Puerto Rico, but they fell short against Wabash, falling 7-2. The Vikings now own a 3-7 record on the season while the Little Giants improve to 6-10.

Jared Hofer got the Vikings off to a winning start, taking the No. 1 singles match 6-4, 7-5. Collin Noldner nearly gave the Vikings a two-match lead, but the Augustana junior lost in three sets, 6-3, 1-6, 10-6.

The No. 3 singles match was tightly contested as well, but Jackson Buchanan couldn't break through and lost 6-4, 7-5. Colan Surratt couldn't break the Little Giants' winning streak, falling 6-4, 6-2 in the fourth-flight match.

Brock Baade and Evan Richard then fell victim to Wabash's Nos. 5 and 6 singles player. Baade suffered a 6-1, 6-0 defeat and Richards dropped his match 6-2, 6-3.

The Vikings split the first two doubles contests, with both matches being close. Hofer and Noldner fell in a tiebreaker 8-7 (7-5), but Buchanan and Baade notched a close 8-6 win at the No. 2 spot. Surratt and Richards couldn't give the Vikings their third win of the day, losing 8-3 in the third-flight doubles match.

The Vikings will take on local Puerto Rico-Mayaguez tomorrow at 12 p.m. for their third of four matches on their spring break trip.
