COLUMBUS, NEB. – Augustana men's golf fired a 305, 10 shots better than in the first round, on Sunday to move up one spot on the leaderboard on finish sixth in the Upper Iowa Spring Invite at the Quail Run Golf Course.

The Vikings finished the two-day tournament with a team score of 620 (315-305), 44 over par. St. Cloud State maintained its day one lead to win the two-day event with a 20-over-par 596 (303-293), six shots ahead of runner-up Concordia-St. Paul in the nine-team Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference field.

Collin Hammer picked up his first top-10 finish on the year after firing at 72 in the final round, bringing his total to 151 (79-72), which tied for 10th. Concordia-St. Paul's Adam Petterson took home individual medalist with a score of 144 for the tournament, one shot ahead of Minot State's Kowan O'Keefe.

Drew Trautman tied for 22nd with a score of 156 (77-79) over the two rounds of the tournament.

Clay Kopplin went up three spots on Sunday with a five-over-par 77 in the final round, bringing his total to 157 (80-77), good for a tie for 25th.

Tyler Jensvold and John Grothe each finished tied for 32nd with a two-round score of 159 for the event.

Augustana closes out its season with the final two rounds of the NSIC Championship beginning on April 11th at the Jewel Golf Course in Lake City, Minn.
