SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana announced the new floor design at the Sioux Falls Arena where the men's and women's basketball teams will play their home doubleheaders beginning in the 2014-15 season.
Fans had the opportunity to choose between three designs which included various color schemes and Augustana logos. Over 250 votes were received at GoAugie.com and through other forms of social media. The winning option was choice one which included the full Augustana Vikings mark and a varying stains throughout the court.
The new floor will be installed later this summer and be ready for the Vikings' first doubleheader at the Sioux Falls Arena on Nov. 19 when the women take on Dakota Wesleyan and men face Dakota State at 6 and 8 p.m., respectively.
Augustana would like to thank all the fans for their time and participation in helping choose the new floor design.
