SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Midco Sports Network recently released its live television schedule for 2014-15 and Augustana football will have two games aired live. The Sept. 13 game against Minnesota Duluth and the Sept. 27 game against the University of Mary will be shown live locally on channels 26 SD and 622 in High Definition.
Augustana and Minnesota Duluth will kick-off at 1:05 p.m. at Kirkeby-Over Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 13, in the Vikings' 2014 home opener which is also the 45th Annual Shrine Game. This will be the first meeting between the Vikings and the Bulldogs since 2012, and the first in Sioux Falls the season-opener in 2011 where UMD defeated Augustana 20-12 after a late interception return for a touchdown.
After a week on the road, Augustana welcomes the Marauders from U-Mary on Saturday, Sept. 27, for its annual Viking Days Homecoming game with kickoff set for 1:05 p.m. Augustana last played U-Mary during the 2012 season in Bismarck, N.D. The Marauders will be making their first appearance at Kirkeby-Over Stadium since week three of the 2010 season.
Augustana is set to open the regular season on Sept. 6 at Minnesota Crookston at 1 p.m.
