Women's golf places second at Golden Bear Invite

FINAL RESULTS

LAKE ELMO, Minn. –
Augustana women's golf shot a 324 in the second round of the Concordia-St. Paul Invite on Sunday afternoon and finished second out of 11 teams at 630 (306-324). Concordia-St. Paul shot a 314 in both rounds and finished in first with a 628, just two strokes ahead of the Vikings.

Marisa Toivonen fired identical rounds and was Augustana's highest finisher at 10-over-par 154 (77-77). Jennifer Pederson, who was competing as an individual for the Vikings, placed sixth after taking two rounds off her first score with a 77 this afternoon to finish at 12-over-par 156 (79-77).

Katie Grevlos, who was also competing as an individual for Augustana, tied for 12th 14-over-par 158. Grevlos delivered a six-over-par 78 in the first round before delivering an eight-over-par 80 this afternoon.

Jordan Bormann placed 14th with a two-round score of 15-over-par 159 (77-82) and was followed by Sierra Langlie who placed 15th at 16-over-par 160 (76-84) and Emily Israelson who finished 17th at 17-over-par 161 (76-85).

Kali Trautman finished the day at nine-over-par 81 to finish 25th overall at 19-over-par 163.

The Vikings will be back in action next Saturday and Sunday at the Southwest Minnesota State Invite at the Marshall Golf Club in Marshall, Minn.
