SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana men's golf finished up the Jackrabbit Invite in sixth place after the final round on Tuesday at the Minnehaha Country Club.

Despite battling the elements on a gloomy Tuesday morning, The Vikings fought hard, and fired a 302 in the final 18 holes of the tournament, bringing their total to 901 (305-294-302).

The University of South Dakota held its place on top of the leaderboard, taking first with a 15-over-par 867 (290-280-297) as its team score, 11 shots better than runner-up South Dakota State University.

The Coyotes' Jordan Rykal received individual medalist honors after finishing the three-round event with an overall score of 212 (70-68-74).

Parker Klitzke racked up his second top-10 finish this year, taking 10th after firing a seven-over-par 220 (74-73-73) in three rounds of the tournament.

Clay Kopplin placed 14th after posting a three-round score of 222 (73-72-77).

Tyler Jensvold's 10-over-par 223 (78-71-74) was good enough for a four-way tie for 15th, the best finish the senior has notched so far this year.

Drew Trautman remained tied for 37th with a final round score of 78, bringing his two-day total to 236 (80-78-78).

CJ Haukom ended his first tournament of the year in 42nd with a three-round score 262 (89-81-92).

Augustana is next in action on Sept. 29 for the first two rounds of the NSIC Championship in Lake City, Minn.
