No. 20 Augustana heads north this weekend for two NSIC games

Storylines
• No. 20 Augustana is back on the road for two games as part of its four-game road trip with two more NSIC matches this weekend.
• The Vikings start the final leg of the trip on Saturday with at Bemidji State (3-5, 2-3 NSIC).
• Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
• The match will be played at the BSU Soccer Complex.
• Augustana closes out the trip on Sunday against Minnesota Crookston (2-3-3, 1-2-2 NSIC).
• The contest is set for a 1 p.m. start.
•  The UMC Soccer Field is where the match will be played.

Series History
• The Beavers lead the all-time series 6-3-1 against the Vikings in 10 meetings.
• Augustana won the last matchup between the two teams, a 2-1 win in overtime in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Sept. 28, 2013.
• The Vikings have taken two of the last three meetings against Bemidji State.
• The Beavers won the last meeting in Bemidji, Minn. 2-1 on Sept. 23, 2012.
• Augustana holds a 10-1-2 record all-time against the Golden Eagles.

Vikings Tie Best Start in Team History After Eight Games
• Augustana picked up two wins this past weekend to tie the best start in team history through eight games at 7-1.
• The Vikings picked up their fifth straight shutout in a 3-0 win at MSU Moorhead this past Saturday.
• Samantha Arnold recorded her fourth goal of the season in the win.
• Arnold also dished out her third assist of the year in the match.
• Samantha Tymkowicz netted her fourth goal of the season in the win.
• Stephanie Stevens converted a penalty kick to for her second goal of the year.
• Annie Thoresen had a big weekend, dishing out three assists in both wins for Augustana.
• Thoresen now has a team-leading five assists on the season, currently second in the NSIC.
• Payton Pry turned in her second multi-goal game of 2014, scoring both goals in the 2-1 win at Northern State.
• Pry now has a career-best five goals this year, which leads the Vikings.
• Thoresen assisted on both Pry goals, including the game-winner in overtime against the Wolves.
• Ashley Limmer posted her fourth shutout of the year in the win against the Dragons on Saturday.
