SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana men's basketball head coach Tom Billeter has announced the 2015-16 schedule which features an exhibition game at the University of Iowa in Iowa City on Friday, Nov. 6. The Vikings will open the season with an exhibition contest against Bethel University at the Elmen Center on Monday, Nov. 2.
 
Augustana also has two trips on its 2015-16, including two-game stints in Las Vegas and Puerto Rico. The Vikings will play in the Las Vegas Invitational Nov. 13-14 against Washburn University and Cal State Stanislaus.
 
After returning from Las Vegas, Augustana will have a much anticipated match-up against Northwest Missouri State on Thursday, Nov. 19 at the Sioux Falls Arena. The Vikings and the Bearcats met in the semifinal of the NCAA Central Region Tournament in Sioux Falls last season. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at the Arena.
 
Augustana will open its 22-game conference schedule on Monday, Nov. 23 at Wayne State. The Vikings will then spend the Thanksgiving holiday in Puerto Rico with two games on the docket for that trip. Augustana will play Turabo University and American University Nov. 27-28.
 
The following weekend Augustana will return to Sioux Falls for the first time since Nov. 19 and will host Minnesota State and Concordia-St. Paul at the Arena Dec. 4-5. The Vikings will then hit the road for a pair of games at Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston before closing-out the first half of the season hosting Wayne State on Saturday Dec. 19.
 
Augustana will open the New Year with a pair of home games hosting Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State Jan. 2-3 (Saturday/Sunday) before squaring-off with Minnesota State and Concordia-St. Paul for the second time of the season, this time on the road, Jan. 8-9.
 
St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth will pay a visit to the Sioux Falls Arena on Jan. 15-16 before the Vikings hit the road to take on Winona State and Upper Iowa Jan. 22-23. The Vikings will then hold its second Saturday/Sunday weekend games of the season Jan. 30-31 hosting U-Mary and Minot State. Augustana and U-Mary will tip-off at 5 p.m. on Sunday before the Vikings take on Minot State at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
 
The Vikings will then spend the next two weekends on the road at Northern State and MSU Moorhead Feb. 5-6 and at SMSU and USF Feb. 12-13 before closing-out the regular season on Feb. 19-20 hosting Upper Iowa and Winona State.
 
The NSIC/Sanford Health Men's Basketball Tournament will begin with first-round games on campus Feb. 24. The quarterfinals, semifinals and championship rounds will be played at the Sanford Pentagon Feb. 27-March 1.
