Soccer Hosts Bemidji State on Senior Day; Wraps Up Weekend with Minnesota Crookston

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana soccer team will look to rebound this weekend after they saw their six game winning streak come to an end after suffering their first setback in three weeks last weekend. The Vikings defeated Concordia-St. Paul on Friday to push their streak to six before falling to Minnesota State on Sunday. Augustana is 7-4-1 (6-2-1) and are ranked third in the NSIC.
 
Scouting Bemidji State
To open the weekend the Vikings will host Bemidji State on Saturday for Senior Day at 11 a.m. at Morstad Field. The Beavers come into the match sporting a 9-3 (7-2 NSIC) record and are ranked second in the NSIC standings. Last week the Beavers defeated Northern State and MSU Moorhead.
 
Bemidji State leads the all-time series with a 6-5-1 mark over Augustana. The Vikings have won the last three meetings between the two, including a 1-0 victory in Sioux Falls last year.
 
Scouting Minnesota Crookston
Augustana will conclude the weekend with a 1 p.m. kickoff against Minnesota Crookston on Sunday at Morstad Field. The Golden Eagles enter the match 2-9-1 (1-7-1 NSIC) and ranked 16th in the NSIC. Last week the Golden Eagles dropped games to MSU?Moorhead and Northern State.
 
Augustana leads the series history with a record of 11-2-2 over Minnesota Crookston. The Vikings won the lone contest between the two, last season 2-1 in Sioux Falls.
