Soccer Travels North For Their Last Road Swing of the Season

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana soccer team will take their last road trip of the season this weekend as they travel to St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth. The Vikings have four regular season matches remaining and are currently third in the NSIC standings. Last weekend, Augustana took down Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston to improve to 9-4-1 (8-2-1 NSIC) on the season.
 


Scouting St. Cloud State
Augustana will travel to St. Cloud State on Friday, Oct. 21 for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Husky Stadium in St. Cloud, Minn. The Huskies enter the match with a 6-5-3 (5-3-3 NSIC) record and are sixth in the NSIC standings. Last week, St. Cloud State tied Southwest Minnesota State and fell to Sioux Falls.
 
St. Cloud State leads the all-time series with a 10-6-4 record over Augustana. Augustana has won the last two meetings, including a 3-1 victory in St. Cloud last year.
 
Scouting Minnesota Duluth 
The Vikings will wrap up the weekend at Minnesota Duluth on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 1 p.m. at James S. Malosky Stadium in Duluth, Minn. The Bulldogs come into the weekend with a record of 6-5-3 (4-4-3 NSIC) and are ranked eighth in the NSIC. Last week, the Bulldogs defeated Sioux Falls and fell to Southwest Minnesota State.
 
Minnesota Duluth leads the all-time series over Augustana by a record of 11-5-1. Augustana won last season's matchup 1-0 in Duluth.
