SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana women's basketball team earned a decisive 92-45 victory Friday afternoon against the Peru State Bobcats. The Win improves the Vikings record to 5-2 on the season.
Augustana suffered no Thanksgiving rust as they jumped out to a quick 15-3 lead in the first-quarter. Peru State was able to get a few buckets back, but the Vikings refused to allow them to trim the lead to single digits, going into the second-quarter with a 34-12 advantage.
The second-quarter was much like the first with the Vikings imposing their will and forcing seven Bobcat turnovers. The Vikings were able to earn their largest lead of the half at 33-points with 3:43 left in the half. Augustana went into the locker room with a 51-23 lead.
The final two quarters of the game were no different than the first two. The Vikings allowed a combined 22 points, 11 each quarter while scoring 41 of their own. Augustana earned their largest lead of the game at 47 late in the fourth-quarter on their way to 95-42 win.

Shelby Selland had a great game for the Vikings with a season-high 15-points. Selland added five rebounds and two assists to her totals.
