SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Augustana women's soccer team (10-2-3, 9-1-2 NSIC) celebrated Senior day on Saturday and it was the seniors who came through for the Vikings in their 1-0 win over Minnesota Duluth (8-5-2, 5-5-2 NSIC).

Senior Samantha Tymkowicz scored the lone goal of the match and fellow senior Taylor Machacek picked up her 10th shutout of the season.

Tymkowicz netted her goal off of a Reiley Klose cross in the 47th minute. It was Tymkowicz's fifth goal of the season and she moved into second place in Augustana history in points with 72. Tymkowicz also tied the school record in career appearances with 77.

Machacek recorded two saves on the day and her 27th career shutout. Machacek is one shutout off of the Augustana season record (11) that was set by herself in 2015.

Augustana notched its 10th win of the season and have had five straight 10-win seasons and seven in program history. Augustana has had eight 1-0 victories on the season.

Augustana will play St. Cloud State on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. at Morstad Field to wrap up the weekend.
