SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Looking to rebound from a tough loss on Tuesday night, the Augustana volleyball team hits the road for their final regular season road trip of the year. The Vikings (18-8, 9-7 NSIC) take on Minnesota Crookston on Friday, Nov. 3 at 5 p.m. and Bemidji State the following Saturday with the first serve scheduled for 3 p.m.
The Golden Eagles are (2-1) in their last three matches with two straight set road victories over Minot State and Bemidji State. Overall, Minnesota Crookston brings a (7-17, 4-11 NSIC) record to the match with the Augustana on Friday night.
The Beavers are currently on an 18 match losing streak and have yet to win a conference game in 2017. Their last win came on Sept. 9 when they defeated Lake Superior State in five sets at the Keweenaw Classic. Bemidji State currently holds a (3-22, 0-16 NSIC) record.

Courtney Place continues to help the Vikings out offensively as the outside hitter has 376 kills which ranks second in the conference and 22nd nationally. The Okabena, Minn. native is coming off of one of the best matches of her career as she smacked a career high 26 kills in the win over Upper Iowa last weekend.

Hanna Justesen and
Kaylea Ahrens look to build on their performances over the weekend. Both Justesen (21) and Ahrens (18) recorded career highs in digs.
Outside hitter Kassi Green leads the Golden Eagles and is currently fifth in the NSIC with 324 kills. Kelci Green, a middle hitter from Anoka, Minn., leads Minnesota Crookston with 65 total blocks in 2017.
Sami Leach leads Bemidji State with 151 kills while Maddie Filipak leads the Beavers with 67 total blocks.
Augustana holds a (16-1) all-time series record against Minnesota Crookston. The Vikings defeated the Golden Bears, 3-0, back on Sept. 30 this season.
Augustana is (22-3) all-time vs. the Beavers. The Vikings swept Bemidji State back on Sept. 29 earlier this season at home.
