ST. PAUL, Minn. -- 12 different players scored in the Augustana women's basketball victory over Lake Superior State Saturday afternoon at the Concordia-St. Paul Thanksgiving Classic. The Vikings defeated the Lakers 100-61, and improves their record to 5-0 on the season. This is Augustana's best start to a season since the Vikings started out the 2012-13 season 9-0.

Paige Peterson, a senior center from Jamestown, N.D. led all scorers with 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting and hauled in five rebounds. Senior Logan O'Farrell had 16 points on 7-of-13 shooting and was one of four Vikings to score in double-figures.

Lynsey Prosser poured in 15 points and tallied four rebounds while Presley O'Farrell collected 13 points and 11 rebounds. Izzy Van Velduizen was a perfect 2-for-2 from deep and accounted for two of the Vikings eight three-pointers.

As a team, the Vikings shot 42 percent from the field, 27 percent from the three-point line and had 11 turnovers. Augustana held Lake Superior State to 37 percent shooting and forced 27 turnovers. The Vikings held the edge on the glass as well, out-rebounding the Lakers 52-38. Augustana's bench outscored Lake Superior State's 44-24.

The Vikings return to action Friday, Dec. 1 when they return to St. Paul to play Concordia-St. Paul in NSIC action. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
