ST. CHARLES, Mo. - The Augustana University baseball team split their Saturday doubleheader with Lindenwood. The Vikings dropped game one but bounced back for the 3-2 victory in the game two.
GAME ONE
In his second start as a Viking,
Dalton Lehnen had another solid outing only allowing one earned run in six innings of work.
The Vikings put a runner in scoring position in the first inning after
Patrick O'Donnell hit a double to left center but were unable to drive him in.
Augustana's final hit in the game came in the third inning when
Ryan Menssen doubled to left field but would be picked off at second. Lindenwood went on to score in the bottom of the inning to take a 1-0 lead. The Lions scored again in the fifth and held on to defeat the Vikings 2-0 in game one.

GAME TWO
After a scoreless first inning, the Vikings scored their first run of the series in inning number two when
Rafael Eigenmann singled to left scoring
Tyler Field. Lindenwood scored in the bottom half of the inning to tie the game at one.
The Vikings regained the lead in the fifth after an O'Donnell double to center scored
Sam Baier. Augustana added an important insurance run in the eighth inning as O'Donnell hit a sac fly to center to drive in
Jacob James from third.
The Lions scored one run in the ninth and had two runners in scoring position with two outs buts
Collin Lovell closed thee door on the Lions to earn his first save of the year.
