SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana University softball and the Sioux Empire Fastpitch Softball Association will be partnering for the third straight year to conduct a developmental Fall Softball League. The league will be held on four Sundays; Aug. 27, Sept. 10, 17 and 24.
 
The league will be held at Frank Olson Park in Sioux Falls. The purpose of the league is to give athletes the opportunity to continue their development in softball while receiving instruction from the coaches and players of the Augustana softball team.
 
The Fall League is designed for players in grades 2-5. Players may sign up with a team, or as an individual and will then be placed on a team of 12-15 players. Games will be played either Sunday morning or afternoon, with every effort possible made to play in the afternoon. Each team will practice and have one game each Sunday.
