Women’s Golf Sits in Sixth After Day One of the NCAA 2018 Preview

HOUSTON - On the first day of the NCAA 2018 Preview at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas, the Augustana women's golf team sits in seventh after shooting 17-over-par (305) as a team and is just four strokes out of second place.

Kali Trautman leads the Vikings after shooting one-over-par (73) and currently sits in a tie for sixth place. Trautman is one stroke behind the leaders.

Sierra Langlie (+3, 75) is second on the team sitting in a tie for 19th place, followed by Hannah Hankinson (+6, 78) in tie for 39th, Emily Israelson (+7, 79) in tie for 46th and Alex Stone (+9, 81) sitting in tie for 58th.

Leading the team race is St. Mary's (Texas) who shot six-over-par (294) and there are currently five golfers tied for first after shooting par in the opening round.

The Vikings return to action tomorrow, Sept. 26, at with a 8 a.m. shotgun start at Bay Oaks Country Club.
