CROOKSTON, Minn. -- The first place Augustana women's soccer team (12-1-1) dominated every second on Friday afternoon when it defeated the Golden Eagles of Minnesota Crookston (0-11-0) 3-0.
Augustana set the tone early as sophomore forward
Alexis Legg connected on a pass from senior midfielder
Peyton Stenzel in the sixth minute of the match to give the Vikings a 1-0 lead. It was Legg's third goal of the season and Stenzel's fifth assist of the season.
The Vikings took a 2-0 lead in the 34th minute of the match when sophomore forward
Kenzie Geiger sent freshman
Josie Arduser's cross pass to the back of the net. Geiger cashed in on her second goal of the season while Arduser picked up her team-leading seventh assist.
The Vikings outshot the Golden Eagles 23-3 in the first half and placed 10 of those shots on goal. Overall, Augustana outshot Minnesota Crookston 48-6 and finished with 20 shots on frame. The 48 shots broke Augustana's single-game record of 43 that was set on Sept. 11, 2002, against Northwestern College.
Augustana ballooned their advantage to 3-0 in the 78th minute as senior forward
Claire Dahm tallied her sixth goal of the season off of a pass from freshman midfielder
Bailey McCullough. Dahm is now tied with fellow senior
Grace Behm for the team lead in goals.

Meghan Kuntz combined to make three saves and posted Augustana's tenth shutout of the season.
