BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- Sophomore goalkeeper Claudia Pueschner has been named the NSIC Goalkeeper of the Week for her efforts against Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State last weekend. Pueschner has now won the award four times after earning Goalkeeper of the Week three times during her freshman campaign. 

Last weekend, Pueschner faced 34 shots and 17 shots on goal against Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State. She made all 17 saves and helped guide the Vikings to another undefeated conference weekend. 

Pueschner has been fantastic all season, not just last weekend. The sophomore has posted five-consecutive shutouts to bring her season total to six. Of the 17 halves that she has played, she has shutout 14 of them. Her 16 career shutouts just halfway through her sophomore year rank second all-time for Augustana. 

She will look to continue her goalkeeping prowess this weekend at home against the Warriors of Winona State and Peacocks of Upper Iowa.
