MANKATO, MINN. -- Starting their final road series of the regular season, the Augustana women's basketball team used a big-time comeback to pick up their 20th win of the season. The 77-69 win over Minnesota State improves the Vikings to 20-8 (12-7 NSIC) while the Mavericks drop to 11-12 (8-11 NSIC).
The win marks  the fifth straight season Augustana has won 20 or more games.
Trailing by 10 at half, Augustana outscored the Mavericks 46-38 in the second half for the comeback win. The Vikings shot 47.4% in the second half. Overall, the Augustana was led by
Lynsey Prosser with 26 points.
Leading all scoring was Prosser, she dropped 26 points going 9-of-25 in 37 minutes of action. The Vikings tabbed two other double-digit scorers in the win,
Shelby Selland tallied 13 points, while Rabb finished with 10.
The Vikings took off in the first quarter, but trailed  by 10 after the first 10 minutes, 29-19.
Vishe' Rabb was the spark for the Vikings offense, leading with seven points. The freshman went  2-of-4 from the field and 75% from the charity stripe.
Playing from behind, the Vikings tallied 12 second quarter points but so did the Mavericks. The Vikings did not let off the gas - Rabb opened the quarter with a steal that turned into an aggressive transitional layup, but the referees waived off and called an offensive foul, giving Rabb her second of the night.
Camryn Hay started the second-quarter scoring for Augustana and her layup was two of her four first half points.
Heading into the locker room, coach Krauth and the Vikings trailed by 10, 41-31. Senior
Lynsey Prosser chipped in 13 points and grabbed three boards to lead the Vikings in both categories. The Vikings grabbed 19 boards while the Mavericks corralled 22.
Rabb fueled the Vikings second-half comeback knocking down a three pointer to put Augustana on the board. . After seven minutes of play, the Vikings had built a 10-3 run and intense defense forced the Mavericks into a timeout.
During the third quarter, Augustana only allowed Minnesota State to score fives points, while in return the Vikings dropped 17 on 7-of-22 shooting from the floor.
The fourth quarter push came when the Vikings went on a 5-2 run with seven minutes left in the game. Augustana stretched their lead to 10 with just under three minutes left. The final minutes of the game the Vikings continued to stretch their lead, ultimately pulling ahead by eight to seal their road victory.
Overall, Augustana shot 30-of-68. On the boards Prosser and
Hana Metoxen grabbed seven apiece. Augustana finished with 46 boards while the Mavericks corralled 45.
The Vikings return to action in St. Paul, Minn. Saturday afternoon to take on the Golden Bears of Concordia-St. Paul at 3:30 p.m.
