EMPORIA, Kan. -- The Augustana women's tennis team got back into the win column on Sunday afternoon, defeating Emporia State 4-2 at the EHS Courts in Emporia, Kan.

The No. 26 Vikings (14-2, 9-0 NSIC) picked up two wins in doubles action to earn the doubles point and three singles wins against Emporia State.

No. 26 Kornelia Staniszewska took down Camila Ramos 6-1, 6-0 to extend her regular season match win streak to 32. She is now 14-0 on the season in singles action.

Sophomore Grace Goble picked up her 10th win of the season with a 6-1, 6-7, 7-6 victory over Cyrielle Peyroche and Anca Rusu took care of business against Silvana Caceres with a 6-4, 6-3 win to give her 11 wins on the season.

In doubles action, the No. 2 ranked doubles duo's of Staniszewska and Laura Arce Vieyra took down Peyroche and Jessica Purdy 6-1 for their 14th win of the season. Taylor Jackson and Rusu got back into the win column picking up a 6-3 decision over Viktoria Mackova and Karen Santiago to earn their eighth win of the season.
