BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- With a phenomenal finish to the regular season, Augustana senior softball student-athlete Maggie Kadrlik is named the Northern Sun Conference Player of the Week. This marks the first honor of the year for the senior and the second of her career.

Kadrlik was nearly perfect over the last six games, hitting 17-20 from the plate for a .850 average. Kadrlik had three games hitting 1.000, and at least two hits in all six games.

Starting three games at catcher and three at designated player, Kadrlik showed off her power with two doubles, six home runs, and 13 total RBI. Kadrlik had a two-home run performance vs. Minnesota Crookston, and finished the week with three RBI or more in three games.

Kadrlik also finished with an impressive 1.850 slugging percentage, collecting 37 total bases in just 20 at-bats. The Minnesota native did not strikeout and added one walk for a .857 on-base percentage. Kadrlik also contributed 18 putouts, 4 assists and 0 errors on defense. Augustana finished the six-game stretch 5-1.
