AUSTIN, Texas – Augustana softball's Andrea Cain has been named to the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-America Third Team as an outfielder, announced Tuesday by the organization. 

A 2026 NCAA Division II Rawlings Gold Glove Award Winner and an NFCA All-Region honoree, Cain put together an impressive season at the plate and in the field in her final season in the Navy and Gold. 

Cain is a four-time NSIC Champion and former NSIC freshman of the Year. She secured two NFCA All-Region honors and has been named an all-conference honoree in all four seasons. 

The standout Viking adds to the Augustana softball legacy that now consists of 15 CSC Academic All-America honors.
