SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana softball head coach Colleen Powers has announced the hiring of Jasmin Estrada as the program's newest assistant coach. 

Jasmin joins the coaching staff following a tenure as an assistant coach at Division II Upper Iowa, where she was actively involved in every facet of program management, including player development, recruiting, practice planning, opponent scouting, travel coordination, and student-athlete mentorship.

In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Jasmin served as the head coach of the Wausau Ignite in the Northwoods League, guiding the collegiate summer team to a historic season and its first-ever playoff berth. 

Prior to her time at Upper Iowa, Jasmin served as a graduate assistant at Northern State University and as the head coach of the nationally competitive Mash Softball 18U program.

As a student-athlete at St. Cloud State University, Jasmin put together one of the most decorated playing careers in program history. A multi-time NSIC All-Conference selection, she holds the Huskies' career program records in home runs, RBIs, and extra-base hits. She holds a bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health, as well as master's degrees in Educational Administration and Sports Performance & Leadership.

Estrada began her duties on Monday, August 10.
