SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Augustana men's tennis team returned home to face off against Concordia (Neb.) on Saturday afternoon outside at the Huether Tennis Centre. The Vikings picked up the 7-0 win over the Bulldogs to improve to 8-10 on the season. The Bulldogs fell to 7-7 on the season.

The Vikings won two-of-three doubles matches to claim the doubles point and swept all six singles matches to earn the 7-0 win. Augustana gets back in the win column after splitting a pair of matches in Grand Forks, N.D. last weekend.

Starting the day in doubles action, Logan Barr and Joe Sawatzke defeated Thomas Greeff Jeremy Berryman 7-5 in No. 1 Doubles action and Austin VanDerWeide and North Knewtson defeated Conner Works and Joseph Bindl 6-0 in No. 3 doubles to secure the doubles point.

In singles action, Barr defeated Greeff 6-3, 7-5, 10-4 in No. 1 Singles action, VanDerWeide picked up a 6-4, 6-4 win over Luke Zoller in No. 2 Singles and in No. 3 Singles Sawatzke downed Berryman 6-2, 6-1.

Eden Mrozek picked up his sixth win of the season in a tough 3-6, 7-5, 10-5 win against Isaac Howes. Knewtson defeated Works 6-3, 6-1 for his 12th win of the season and Frank Kelly rounded out the singles action with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Jack Kitson.

The Vikings have now won two out of their last three matches and will look to close out the season with a win against Northwest Missouri State. Augustana will host the Bearcats on Wednesday, April 17 at 3 p.m.
