Augustana Football and Viking fans are looking forward to a great season ahead as the Vikings celebrate the 10th anniversary season of Kirkeby-Over Stadium. Fans will notice signage, unique features, social media content and more celebrating the 10th anniversary season at Kirkeby-Over Stadium.

A special promotion will run Wednesday, 10 days out from the home opener vs. Upper Iowa. On that day only, all general admission adult tickets for that game will be available at GoAugie.com/tickets for only $10 (normally $15).

On game days, parking lots open at 8 a.m., including the Tailgate (west) parking lot. Parking is free to A-Club members with their passes, and only $5 per spot for the public.

Augieville, the site for all pregame festivities, gets underway at 11 a.m., with music, inflatable & lawn games and the A-Club Tailgate. A-Club members will find an upgraded meal this year at the A-Club Tailgate and fans who are not A-Club members can purchase that same meal for $10. In addition, a new area in Augieville has been designated specifically for Augustana students to create their own tailgate, led by student support organization SKOL. Augieville is located north and west of Kirkeby-Over Stadium on the practice football field.

The promotion schedule is full of great events in 2019, and it all gets underway on Saturday, Sept. 7 vs. Upper Iowa with a celebration of the 10th Anniversary of K-O Stadium, including rally towels for the first 1000 fans through the gates. In addition, it's South Dakota Junior Football Day as four local youth football teams will scrimmage at halftime, and local junior football players will receive complimentary admission to the game. Halftime will also serve as a chance to recognize the 2019 National Championship Softball team. The game will be televised by MidcoSN.

Saturday, Sept. 21 vs. Wayne State serves as the 48th Annual Shrine game at Augustana. Information on the events surrounding the Shrine game can be found at ElRiad.org/shrine-football-game. The 2019 Hall of Fame class will be recognized during halftime. Tickets for the Hall of Fame induction ceremony & dinner on Friday night, the 20th, can be found at AugieLink.com/HallofFame.
