SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Augustana men's golf team competes at its home golf course for the only time this fall on Saturday and Sunday. The Vikings will tee off at 9 a.m. both days at Elmwood Golf Course. The course features 27 unique holes, six of which are par-five holes. 

The Event
The Vikings will be competing against University of Sioux Falls, Missouri Southern State, South Dakota School of Mines, Minnesota Crookston, and University of Manitoba. The six teams will play two rounds, 18 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday

The Vikings
Last season at the Augustana Invite, the Vikings placed second, by just one stroke. The finish was the best of the season. Jacob Lee, Sam Sutcliffe, and Alex Stanz all placed in the top 20 at last year's event. Lee led the Vikings with 147 strokes and a fourth-place finish.

Player to Watch
Sophomore Jacob Lee earned a fifth place finish, his top finish of the year, two weekends ago at the UMC King's Walk Invite. The preseason golfer to watch finished two strokes under par and was just five strokes away from the first place medalist.
