BROOKFIELD, Ill. – The Augustana football team had three of its student-athletes honored as part of the Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-Super Region Four Team announced Tuesday.

Senior
Jake Lacina was named to the first-team offense while sophomores
Luis Guarita and
Eli Weber were named to the second-team offense and defense, respectively.

Lacina, the 2019 Rimington Trophy award winner, has garnered his fourth postseason award including being named to two different All-America teams on the offensive line. The St. Paul, Minnesota, native lead an offensive line that ended the regular season 19
th for tackles for loss allowed. Lacina earned First Team All-NSIC South Division honors and was named an AFCA First Team All-America selection.

Guarita, a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, tied the Augustana single-season record for made field goals in a season with 16. Not only did he make them, but he made that at an impressive rate. He ranked fourth in the nation with an 88.9 percent accuracy and 11
th in the nation with 1.33 field goals per game. Following the season, Guarita earned second-team honors from the NSIC.

Weber, a First Team All-NSIC honoree, led the Vikings with four interceptions. The defensive back helped the Vikings rank eighth in the nation with 30 turnovers gained and 10
th in Division II with 19 interceptions. Weber also recorded 66 tackles, 45 of which were solo.

Don Hansen is the second of Lacina's career and first each for Guarita and Weber.

Augustana is coming off a 9-3 campaign, runners-up in the NSIC and advanced to the NCAA Division II playoffs for the fifth time in program history. The Vikings claimed the 'Key to the City' in their victory over Sioux Falls, earned a homecoming victory over St. Cloud State and had a six-game winning streak entering the playoffs. Head coach

The Don Hansen team carries out the legacy of long-time small college football advocate Don Hansen, who passed away at the age of 75 in 2010. Hansen, from Brookfield, Illinois, started and published
Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette for decades, selecting NCAA Division II All-America teams for the first time in 1988. Don Hansen's Football Gazette began selecting Division II All-Region squads in 2003.
