St. Peter, Minn-- The Augustana women's tennis team defeated Minnesota State 7-0 Sunday morning. The Vikings remain undefeated in NSIC play at 8-0 and 11-0 on the season. 

The Vikings had a stellar performance in the doubles, winning all three matches in 6-0 fashion. No. 1 doubles was sophomore Laura Arce Vieyra and Junior Grace Goble. No. 2 doubles was senior duo Taylor Jackson and Anca Rusu. Rounding out doubles play was freshman Aleksandra Kistanova and junior Rebecca Falkner.

Singles play saw the same results as doubles did as the Vikings were able to take all six singles in winning fashion.  Goble and Rusu were able to best their opponents 6-0, 6-0. Arce Vieyra and Falker bested their opponents in the No. 1 and No. 6 singles. 

Kistanova and Jackson remain undefeated this season earning victories of 6-1, 6-0.

The Vikings will have some downtime before heading to Puerto Rico for spring break play March 10-12.
