LAS VEGAS -- Sophomore Jacob Lee earned a top-10 finish while the Augustana men's golf team placed ninth at the Winona State Invitational at the Stallion Mountain Golf Club. The Vikings totaled a score of 626 over two rounds.
Sophomore Jacob Lee was the low stick for the Vikings through two rounds with a score of 148, 4-over-par. He was 1-over-par in the opening round while hitting three-over in the second tour of the course.
Teammates Cole Crawford and Alex Stanz shot even rounds of 81-78, tying for 41st with scores of 159 apiece.
Close behind was freshman Spencer Ehlers shooting an 80 through both rounds coming away with a score of 160.
Sophomore Sam Sutcliffe improved from round one to round two shooting 182 placing him 53rd.
The lone Viking shooting unattached was sophomore Hunter Von Bergen who lowered his score in the second round shooting 78 in the second round.

The Vikings will have down time before heading into the Conference Preview being held in Kansas City, Missouri, at Shoal Creek Golf Course March 30th and 31st.
