SIOUX FALLS, S.D-- Augustana soccer heads north to Minnesota for two NSIC matches with the St. Cloud State Huskies on Friday at 5 p.m. and the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs on Sunday at Noon.

The Games
Augustana enters the matchups with an 8-3-2 overall record on the season after defeating two NSIC foes at home last weekend. The Vikings are currently sitting in fourth in the NSIC soccer standings. 
St. Cloud State takes the 10th spot in the NSIC standings with an overall record of 3-6-2 and a record of 3-4-2 in conference action. The Huskies last met the Vikings on the pitch in 2019, with Augustana earning the 1-0 victory.
UMD sits in the 14th spot in the NSIC standings. The Bulldogs hold a record of 2-10-1 overall and a conference record of 2-7-1. Augustana last saw action with the Bulldogs in 2019 and the Vikings claimed the victory.
The Huskies
St. Cloud State has lost its past three matches. The Huskies enter the game having scored a total of 11 goals against their opponents this season. St. Cloud State's win was on October 3 against Sioux Falls.
Nicole Friis and Karlie Valdez are currently leading the Huskies with three goals and two assists each. Friis also leads the team in shots with 33. Claire Shea has tallied three goals on the sheet for the Huskies as well. Shea has recorded 31 shots on goal, following Friis closely in the category.
Evie Kohn is the lone goalkeeper for SCSU. Kohn has allowed 14 goals on 41 total shots faced with a save percentage of .745 on the season. 
The Bulldogs
Minnesota-Duluth split last weekend with a victory over Concordia-St. Paul on Friday and a loss against Minnesota State on Sunday. The two wins on the Bulldog's record are over Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota-Crookston, both in NSIC play.
There are three players that have each scored two goals for UMD and lead the team: Jackie Jares, Emilia McGiffert, and Anna Tobias. Jares also has one assist this season. Lauren Singstock leads the Bulldogs in assists with five and also has tallied one goal for Minnesota-Duluth. 
There are two goalkeepers that have recorded minutes for the Bulldogs in Sophia Grenz and Jennifer Norris. Grenz has been the starter for UMD in 12 of the 13 games and has a save percentage of .740. Norris started in net against Bemidji State and recorded a full 90 minutes, holding a save percentage of .923 on the season. 
The Vikings
Augustana hits the road for the first time since its last road matchup on October 10 against Southwest Minnesota State. The Vikings enter the weekend having won their last five games straight and holding their opponents to only two total goals against. 
The Vikings have scored 31 goals this season while holding their opponents to 11. Carlie Kray and Alexis Legg lead Augustana with five goals each. Fourteen players have tallied at least one goal this season.
Kelly Kleekamp picked up her first goal of the season off of a game-winning penalty kick against UMary last Sunday. Kleekamp has tallied at least one shot in every game this season.
Sylvia Fehr leads the nation in assists with 10. Fehr picked up three assists in the game against Minnesota-Crookston, setting a game record. She also tallied her first goal of the season against Sioux Falls.
Goalkeeper Jillian Barkus has started in 12 of 13 games for the Vikings this season. Barkus has faced 121 shots in 12 games and has a save percentage of .836. Meghan Kuntz started in net against UMary last Sunday and has recorded a save percentage of .857.
