BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Augustana's Tyler Riemersma is the NSIC South Division Player of the Week after leading the Augustana men's basketball team to a 2-0 record last week. The weekly honor is the second of the season for Riemersma.
 
Riemersma, hailing from Bloomington, Minnesota, averaged a double-double of 23 points and 14 rebounds. He shot 67.9 percent from the field over the two games and added 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per outing.
 
In the rout of No. 25 Minnesota State, Riemersma tallied 23 points and 13 rebounds on 8-of-10 shooting. The following night against Concordia-St. Paul, he totaled 23 points and 15 rebounds and six assists.
 
Riemersma enters this week ranked No. 12 in the nation with five double-doubles.
 
Augustana travels to Upper Iowa on Friday with a 5:30 p.m. tipoff and Winona State on Saturday with a 3:30 start.
