SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Augustana swimming & diving head coach Lindsie Micko announced Tuesday the addition of four signees to compete for the Vikings in the spring semester. The signees include Lui Gabriel and Nesrine Jelliti on the men's side along with Angelina Chan and Nathalia Stephany on the women's side.

"We are super excited that these four young men and women have decided to be a part of Augustana swimming & diving," Micko said. "They will all be quality contributors immediately as we head into our conference championships.

"It's nice when great young people want to be a part of the Augustana and Sioux Falls community."

Lui Gabriel Pinto | Freestyle/Fly | Brazil 

Pinto holds personal bests of 53.75 for the 100-Free, 1:55.13 for the 200-Free, 4:10.32 for the 400-Free, 59.08 for the 100-Fly and 2:09.82 for the 200-Fly.

Nesrine Jelliti | Breaststroke/IM | Tunisia 

Jelliti holds personal bests of 33.84 for the 50-Breaststroke, 1:14.08 for the 100-Breaststroke, 2:40.22 for the 200-Breaststroke, 2:26.96 for the 200-IM and 5:09 for the 400-IM.

Angelina Chan | Breastroke/IM | Malaysia 

Chan holds personal bests of 27.45 for the 50-Free, 59.60 for the 100-Free, 33.72 for the 50-Breaststroke, 1:13.25 for the 100-Breaststroke, 29.80 for the 50-Fly and 1:05.31 for the 100-Fly  

Nathalia Silva | Backstroke/IM/Free | Brazil

Silva holds personal bests of 1:05.98 for the 100-Fly, 2:27.93 for the 200-IM, 2:11.88 for the 200-Free, 4:36.02 for the 400-Free, 1:06.67 for the 100-Back and 2:24.32 for the 200-Back.

The four will arrive on campus for J-Term and be eligible to compete immediately for the Vikings. Augustana's first competition out of the New Year is Jan. 14 as part of a Tri Meet with Sioux Falls and Minnesota State inside the Midco Aquatics Center.
