SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana women's tennis team opened up a five-match homestand with a 7-0 win Saturday night over St. Cloud State inside GreatLIFE Woodlake. The Vikings are now 3-1 on the season and 2-0 in the NSIC. The Huskies fall to 1-2, 1-2.
Augustana claimed the doubles point with 6-3, 6-1, 6-2, victories from No. 1-3, respectively.
In singles action,
Valeriya Monko prevailed 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 singles to remain undefeated on the season.
Laura Arce Vieyra and
Emily Granson also produced 6-0, 6-0, victories at No. 3 and No. 5 singles, respectively.
Florentia Hadjigeorgiou won 6-1, 6-0, at No. 2 singles,
Margarita Chouliara prevailed 6-2, 6-0, at No. 4 singles while
Grace Goble won 6-3, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.
