BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The Augustana men's basketball team had three members honored by the NSIC on South Division All-Conference teams announced by the league Wednesday.
 
Seniors Tyler Riemersma and Adam Dykman were both named to the second team while junior Michael Schaefer earned an honorable mention.
 
Riemersma, a preseason all-conference selection, averaged a double-double of 12.4 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. In all, he totaled seven double-doubles throughout the season and maxed out at 20 points at Upper Iowa on Jan. 29 and in the regular-season finale, he secured an NSIC season-high 22 rebounds. The Bloomington, Minnesota, native is now a two-time All-NSIC honoree.
 
Dykman, a native of Fremont, Nebraska, averaged 12.1 points per outing, a career-best, while securing 4.2 rebounds per outing. He led the Vikings with a .534 shooting percentage while totaling just over 25 minutes per game. He is the only Viking to start all 15 games played in the truncated 2021 season.
 
Schaefer, hailing from St. Cloud, Minnesota, played in all 15 games and led the team in scoring for much of the season. He ended the regular season tallying 12.8 points per outing while securing 4.9 rebounds per game. He began the season with back-to-back 20-point performances at MSU Moorhead.
 
Augustana plays in the quarterfinal round of the NSIC Tournament on Thursday at 4 p.m. vs. Northern State. The game will be broadcast on MidcoSN and live coverage will be available at GoAugie.com/Live.
