ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Augustana men's tennis team fell 6-1 to Rockhurst Saturday in St. Joseph, Missouri. The Vikings fall to 3-4 on the season while Rockhurst improves to 3-0.
 
Tory Shafer picked up the lone point for the Vikings at No. 6 singles. He prevailed 6-3, 6-3, to earn the win, his fifth on the season as part of a 5-2 record in 2021.
 
North Knewtson had a hard-fought battle at No. 4 singles, falling 6-4, 6-4, while Tyson Cowger also put up a strong fight at No. 5 singles before falling 6-4, 6-3.
 
Augustana returns to action on March 28 with a match against Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
