SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The No. 25 Augustana women's tennis team continued its winning ways against Upper Iowa, besting the Peacocks 6-0 in the NSIC regular-season finale on Saturday at the Huether Tennis Centre. The win is No. 129 in a row for the tennis program in NSIC matches. 

The Vikings secured the doubles point winning both double matches. Freshmen duo Valeriya Monko and Florentia Hadjigeorgiou took No. 1 doubles in 6-1 fashion. The sophomore pair in Aleksandra Kistanova and Emily Granson bested the Peacocks No. 2 team, also winning 6-1.

Monko elevated her conference resume with another win at the No. 1 position winning 6-1, 6-1. Junior Laura Arce Vieyra won No. 2 singles coming away with a double-bagel going 6-0, 6-0. Kistanova defeated Upper Iowa's Alejandra Abella in 6-0, 6-1 fashion.  

Seniors Rebecca Falkner and Grace Goble also came away with victories in the No. 4 and No. 5 slots winning 6-0, 6-1, and 6-1, 6-0, respectively. 

The Vikings return to action Sunday hosting regional opponent Northwest Missouri State at 2 p.m. at the Huether Tennis Centre to complete the regular season.
