Jacob Lee Earns NSIC All-Tournament Honors

KANSAS CITY -- Junior lefty Jacob Lee wrapped up the Augustana men's golf season Sunday with a fourth-place finish at the NSIC Championships, earning All-Tournament honors for the first time in his career. As a team, the Vikings finished the tournament in sixth place.

After leading day-one with a 70 and golfing a 76 on day-two, Lee turned in a 72 in round three, just one stroke over par. His total score of 218 tied him for fourth-place, just eight strokes behind the top spot.

Fellow juniors Hunter Von Bergen, Alex Stanz and Sam Sutcliffe followed Lee, respectively.

Von Bergen finished the tournament with an 81 in round three, moving his three-day score to 234. Stanz tallied a 77 in round three, bringing his three-day score to 237.

Sutcliffe posted a round-three score of 80 and finished with a total score of 238. Freshman Spencer Wittstruck also golfed an 80 in round three, bringing his three-day score to 248.
