BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Amanda Dickmeyer of the No. 1 ranked Augustana softball team has been named the NSIC Player of the Week. The junior batted .600 while helping AU to five wins.
 
Dickmeyer is on a power surge having hit three home runs over the last four games including a grand slam in the Vikings' win over Northern State. Dickmeyer, who didn't hit her first career home run until earlier this season, now has four on the year.
 
Over the past week, Dickmeyer was 9-for-15 with six runs scored and did not strike out once. She also tallied eight RBI to help in her effort for the league's weekly honor.
 
The top-ranked Vikings close out the 2021 home schedule with the final two doubleheaders in the history of the current Bowden Field on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's games are against Bemidji State with first pitch slated for noon.
