SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--The Augustana soccer team concluded the regular season with a 2-0 shutout win over the Wayne State Wildcats. The Vikings end the regular season with an overall record of 10-6-2 and an NSIC record of 10-4-1. The Wildcats dropped to 3-11-4 overall and 3-9-3 in NSIC play to end the regular season.

Match Moments

CHANCE (AU) 3'-- Bailey McCullough saw the first opportunity of the game just a few minutes into the first half when she took a shot from the top left corner of the penalty box. McCullough's shot was toward the high left corner and the WSC goalkeeper was forced to make a diving save.

CHANCE (AU) 11'--Grace Douglas found the ball after it bounced around in the box following a corner kick. Douglas took a hard shot from the top right corner of the penalty box, forcing the Wayne State goalkeeper to jump to make the save.

CHANCE (AU) 13'--Another early scoring opportunity came in the first half when Sylvia Fehr was left wide open near the top of the penalty box. The Wildcat goalkeeper made the save, then dropped the ball behind her but was able to make a quick turn and stop the ball before it crossed the goal line.

GOAL (AU) 49'-- Sylvia Fehr dished a nice pass to Josie Arduser who was positioned in front of the goal. Arduser netted the ball and tallied her seventh goal of the season to become the current goal leader for the Vikings.

GOAL (AU) 52'–Not long after the first goal, Arduser scored her second of the game after she was set up by Sylvia Fehr and Grace Douglas. Arduser's goal marks her eighth of the season.
