SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana men's basketball team will open 2022-23 as the No. 18 ranked team in the country the NABC announced Tuesday. The Vikings spent the majority of 2021-22 in the Top-25.
 
Augustana is one of four NSIC schools in the poll with Minnesota Duluth No. 7, MSU Moorhead No. 21 and Upper Iowa No. 22.
 
The defending NSIC Champion Vikings open their season Friday, Nov. 11 against Arkansas Monticello in Kansas City, Missouri, as part of the Central Region Challenge. Augustana makes its Sioux Falls debut Friday, Nov. 18 against South Dakota Mines as part of the East/West Challenge in the Sanford Pentagon. The official home debut of AU is Tuesday, Nov. 22 as Augustana hosts Wayne State.
