SIOUX FALLS, S.D.-- Erika Bute of the Augustana volleyball team earned a Second Team D2CCA All-Central Region honor announced Thursday. Bute garnered all-region honors after helping the Vikings to an overall record of 20-10 in 2022.

Bute led the NSIC in digs per set with 5.06 and total digs with 557 this season while also accomplishing 1500 career digs in her senior campaign. Bute achieved a career high of 44 digs against Truman State in the second week of competition for the Vikings. 

With one year of eligibility remaining, she is fourth all-time leader in digs per set at Augustana with 5.04 through three seasons of play while also being the fourth all-time leader for the Vikings in total digs with 1,678.
