SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana Director of Athletics Josh Morton has announced the addition of Nick Moen to the athletics department as the Assistant Director of Athletics Administration.
 
As a member of the administrative team at Augustana, Moen will have a myriad of roles including assisting with compliance, department operations and gameday operations.
 
Moen comes to Augustana after spending the past 16 months at Sioux Falls, where he was the assistant athletic director for internal operations. He served on the athletic leadership team and handled ticketing, coordinated gameday workers, assisted with oversight of day-to-day operations and served as the communications contact for soccer and softball.
 
Previously to USF, Moen worked in the front office of various baseball teams including the Portland Pickles and Sioux Falls Sunfish. In addition, he served as a baseball scout for Inside Edge Scouting Service, a company that has contracts with all 30 Major League Baseball organizations. Moen also has several years of experience in the private sector working in finance & accounting and operations with Marriott hotels.
 
Moen and his wife, Ruth, have two daughters, Elin and Greta. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Viterbo and owns a Masters of Education Leadership from Winona State. Moen began his duties at Augustana on Monday.
