BURNSVILLE, Minn. – For the second-straight week and fifth time in 2022, Tyler Riemersma is the NSIC South Division Player of the Week. He is the only player in the South Division to have five Player of the Week honors and that matches an NSIC high.
 
This past weekend, Riemersma led the No. 9 ranked Viking men's basketball team to a pair of victories over Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State. He averaged 21 points and 13 rebounds over the wins while shooting 55.6 percent from the field.
 
He ranks ninth in the nation with 10.8 rebounds per game for a season average while ranking 12^th with 11 double-doubles.
 
The Vikings are back in action Thursday at Sioux Falls at 7:30 p.m. A win gives AU the overall NSIC Championship along with the NSIC South Division. Augustana then closes the home schedule on Saturday with a 5:30 contest against Southwest Minnesota State inside the Sanford Pentagon.
