BURNSVILLE, Minn. – For the sixth time this season and third-straight week, Augustana's
Tyler Riemersma is the NSIC South Division Player of the Week.

Hailing from Bloomington, Minnesota, Riemersma is the front-runner for the NSIC Player of the Year. He set a career-high with 31 points scored in the win over Sioux Falls, along with a double-double with 10 rebounds. He followed in the win against Southwest Minnesota State with 14 points and nine rebounds.

For the two-game week, Riemersma averaged 22.5 points and 9.5 rebounds while shooting 60 percent from the field and dishing four assists per game.

For the third-straight year, he has averaged a double-double and for the second time in three years, he is the only NSIC player to accomplish the feat.

The NSIC Champion Vikings open their play in the quarterfinals of the NSIC Tournament on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Augustana will play the winner of Minot State and Southwest Minnesota State as the two teams tangle on Wednesday night.
