SIOUX FALLS, S.D.-- The Augustana women's soccer team added another player to its signing class on Tuesday in Halle Miller, a defender from Sioux Falls. Miller will enroll in the fall of 2022.

Barkus on Miller: "Halle is an incredibly fast player. She mostly has played as a defender, however her versatility is fantastic and I could truly see her playing anywhere on the field, which is exactly why we added her to our 2022 class. She is very comfortable on the ball and is outstanding at getting out of tight situations, plus she is tremendous at possessing the ball out of the back as this will fit very well with our style of play. I love how quick and dynamic Halle is and her motor to get up and down the field is just great! Overall, Halle will bring the level of training up and I am confident that she will compete for minutes immediately this fall!"

High School: Miller will graduate from Roosevelt High School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in May of 2022. She is a three-year starter and helped Roosevelt to a State Championship title in her senior season. Miller is also a three-time all-metro conference player.

Personal: Miller is the daughter of Lori Bartels. She has two younger siblings and enjoys playing soccer and hanging out with friends and family. While at Augustana, Miller plans to major in business.
