ORLANDO, Fla. – The Augustana men's tennis team found tough foes in the middle portion of its spring break trip, falling to Palm Beach Atlantic (5-0) and Embry-Riddle (4-0) in Orlando, Florida.

The Vikings were unable to claim the doubles point, losing all three matches.
The veterans on the team in Tory Shafer (No. 5 singles) and Tyson Cowger (No. 6 singles) had the closest matches of the day.
Shafer fell in No. 5 singles 7-6, 6-1, while Cowger split the first two sets against Blake Williams going 3-6, 6-3, falling in the tiebreaker 10-8.
Henry Dornbusch (No. 1 singles) and Justin Karcher's (No. 2 singles) matches went unfinished due to weather.
Embry-Riddle 4, Augustana 0
The Vikings had two hard-fought matches in doubles play but could not get over the hump losing all three matches.
Both No. 1 doubles duo Henry Dornbusch and Cade Damgaard and No. 3 singles Tyson Cowger and Tory Shafer had close affairs falling 6-4.
Despite not being able to finish, Cowger had the closest contest losing the first set 6-4, and being tied at 2-2 in the second set before rain stopped the competition.
Dornbusch and Justin Karcher's matches also went unfinished.
The Vikings play their fourth match of the week Thursday against Florida Southern slated for an 11:30 a.m. start.
