SIOUX FALLS, S.D.-- The Augustana women's golf team will open up the spring season hosting the Augustana Spring Fling at Desert Willow Golf Resort - Mountain View Course in Palm Desert, California. Desert Willow Golf Resort is set to play 6,003 yards and to a par 72.

The two-day event begins Thursday with a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m.. and will conclude on Friday.
There will be seven schools participating in the spring fling including MSU Denver , St. Martin's, Sioux Falls, Grand Valley State, Indianapolis, Concordia-St. Paul and Augustana.
The Vikings last competed at the Tulsa Cup at Meadowbrook Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where the team tied for seventh with 937 strokes on October 25th and 26th.
Hanna Morin was the highest finisher in the last event placing in a tie for 17th place with a score of 232 (79-77-76).
Natalie Young has one individual win this season when she won the Tracy Lane Invitational during the fall. Young also had two other top-ten finishes during the fall.
Augstana is also led by junior
Molly Stevens where she has four top-10 finishes during the fall season highlighted by a second place finish in the Augustana Invitational back on Oct. 3. Stevens also has one NSIC Player of the Week Honor during the fall season.
The Vikings will next compete in the Midwest Intercollegiate Invite at Silo Ridge Country Club in Bolivar, Missouri, March 21-22. That will be followed by the Newman Invitational at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kansas, on April 4-5. That event is followed by the Wildcat Classic Golf Tourney at the Wayne Country Club in Wayne, Nebraska, April 11-12.
The Vikings next home tournament will be April 15-16 at Willow Run Golf Course in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for the Augustana Easter Lily Invitational.
